Bio

Born and raised in Nepal – the birthplace of Buddha and a centre of deep spiritual tradition – Karnesh brings the quiet wisdom and steady presence of his heritage to his work in Geneva.

His training began in 2007 and has taken him across Nepal and India, from Ashtanga studies in Mysore to Kriya and Kundalini practices in ashrams, resulting in decades of experience. A strong daily yoga and meditation practice anchors his work and teaching.

He also trained in Kathmandu under traditional Himalayan teachers, refining the art of Tibetan singing bowls. His sessions blend sound, presence, and precise technique to support nervous-system balance and deep rest.

Alongside this work, he founded the award-winning Kamala Yoga Nepal, through which he co-creates yoga experiences and Himalayan retreats with exceptional international yoga teachers.

Music remains central to his offerings. A singer-songwriter with a Higher Diploma from Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory, he weaves voice, mantra, guitar, and harmonium into his work and leads inspired kirtans that foster connection and uplift.

Clients describe his energy as warm and grounded, and many say they feel at ease the moment they meet him. He welcomes both Geneva’s local and international community seeking rest, clarity, and a return to themselves. He is fluent in English and an advanced beginner in French.
